Business Profile: Mind-Over-Weight Success Formula

As an empowerment coach, Beth Sutherland is helping people change their perspectives –resulting in dramatic changes to their waist line. Her new program, Mind Over Weight – It’s All In Your Head Success Formula™ drops pounds and inches without diet restriction or exercise. The only requirement is a shift in focus.

For years, Sutherland has helped people uncover the reasons why they can’t achieve their goals or desires, whether it’s to stop smoking, create more wealth, improve their health, or lose weight. “We create thought, thought creates a picture, the picture creates emotion, emotion creates vibration, vibration creates action, and action creates results,” explained Sutherland. “This is the grass roots philosophy of all my programs.”

Since 2006, Sutherland has been helping individuals throughout North America achieve their goals through her Empowerment Coaching practice. But in reality, she’s been helping people for more than a quarter century in her “spare” time while working as an Information Technology Sales Executive with Fortune 500 companies. What started as a way to enhance her sales skills, Sutherland has been able to transform the techniques she has studied along the way to help others eliminate fears or challenges and make permanent changes in their lives.

The realization that our perspective can be changed by changing our thoughts came to Sutherland in 1981 when she was diagnosed with sarcoidosis. Coming from a holistic family background and weighing the traditional medical treatment of that time (steroids and/or Chemotherapy) against a more natural approach of looking for the cause, Sutherland decided to take the natural approach as those traditional methods were not proving to be overly successful. Unable to walk and in severe pain, she was determined to beat this auto-immune disease through natural remedies and by changing her diet and thought process It worked – and there have been no relapses. Since then Sutherland has studied positive psychology modalities from a variety of masters of positive thought including Zig Zigler, Anthony Robbins, and Dr. Wayne Dyer and has received certification in several areas.

The inspiration behind her Mind Over Weight formula was inspired through her experiences and studies and surfaced like a brilliant “aha” moment. “I actually remember saying it out loud. “It’s all in your head!” said Sutherland. “Since using the formula myself, I have seen changes daily. Within three months I had lost twenty-three pounds and increased my muscle tone – because I’m walking my talk and believing. I’m seeing how changing my thoughts is changing my body.”

Sutherland is teaching others to and they’re seeing dramatic results – not just in their weight loss but also in their attitude toward life. “Understanding how we process thoughts, store emotions, and how we sabotage our own plans by allowing opposite thoughts to undermine our success is the common denominator of the formula,” said Sutherland.

Through individualized programs, Sutherland teaches people how to pay attention to their negative thoughts and change them to achieve their goals. For more information, visit www.mind-over-weight.com and www.bethsutherland.com.
