Eyes-Open Meditation for Business Success

Have you joined the trend of business professionals jumping on the meditation bandwagon?  It's been on the covers of Time and Business Weekly magazines. CEOs and celebrities alike attribute their success and happiness to it.  Meditation is a powerful tool to reduce stress while increasing health and well-being.

Individuals who meditate tend to experience higher levels of sustained happiness and well-being in their lives. The result of this is an increased level of job satisfaction, improved morale and a greater willingness to contribute and communicate with fellow employees.

What many people don’t know is that meditation can also be practiced with your eyes open.  The Ascension meditation techniques can be used at any time during the day to bring you back to the present moment.  This allows for greater focus, clarity and an increased ability to handle the stress and pressures of modern life with ease.

Eye-open meditation allows us to become aware of our thoughts.  Much of our time is spent focusing on what happened in the past or worrying about what will happen in the future.  You become aware of self-judgments or limiting thoughts.  With this awareness you are able to make a different choice.

Entrepreneurs and professionals may not be able to change their hectic schedules and responsibilities but meditation allows them to experience balance and relaxation throughout their days.  People have to deal with an endless list of demands from their multiple roles at home and in the office.  Many of these conditions cannot be changed so it’s important to be able to find a balance within this seeming chaos. Eyes-open meditation allows a peace and calm to occur within this hectic schedule as people begin to live more in the present, deal with things as they come, and enjoy what is happening right now.

Some of the additional benefits of meditation include:

  • Naturally improves quality of sleep
  • Increased clarity and creativity
  • Increased peace of mind
  • Reduced anxiety
  • Develops patience
  • Optimizes usage of time, helps create more efficiency
  • Improves relationship with yourself and those around you

Meditation is a simple, effortless practice that can be practiced by anyone.  You don’t have to stop all thoughts or sit in any special posture.  Adequate instruction and guidance from an experienced teacher can ensure that you get the most out of this practice.
