Publisher's Notes - December 2010
Wow…November certainly flew by and it’s hard to believe we’re approaching the holiday season. Our family put up the tree and decorated the house last weekend and my husband and I both commented how it just seemed like last week that we took the decorations down! Does that mean we’re getting old? I was exhausted by the time I was half done – so packed up a lot of decorations and donated them to charity. My daughter, Janelle, thought there was too much and she was right…and doing it when I was too tired to keep working made sharing our treasures easier.
Last month started out on a high note when Janelle and I spent a week in Las Vegas where we attended my coach and mentor Ali Brown’s SHINE event. I was thrilled to be in the “Spotlight” as James Roche shared my business success with www.SusanRegier.com from the stage! And it was amazing to witness my daughter’s first women’s conference where we both met fabulous entrepreneurs who are open to sharing their success secrets. By the time we left, Janelle realized her business goals can easily be achieved in half the time she had imagined. I can’t wait to see what’s around the corner in her life.
November ended on a high note as well with a very successful Wine, Women & Shopping event, which I co-organize with my good friend, Nancy Kirwin. We had 500 women come out to “celebrate sisterhood” and give back to the women of My Sisters’ Place. We’re still waiting for the final numbers but we’ve surpassed our work in the past three years! Yeah!
I’m looking forward to the networking and celebrations over the weeks ahead. It’s a busy time of year…so remember that business does not stop just because the holidays are upon us. You still have an entire month to grow your bottom line.
