It’s hard to believe that summer 2010 is now behind us…and what a fabulous summer it has been.  Not only has the weather been perfect (meaning hot) but for the first time in years I took a two week vacation without any thought about work!  No workshops.  No seminars. No writing.  Believe me it felt strange at first but I returned home feeling rejuvenated and ready for everything that Fall has to offer.  

I must admit, it took a few days to really get back into the swing of things.  I loved our long days of exploring new places on the East coast – and sumptuous country inns with extraordinary seafood (that’s my husband and I having our first real lobster dinner on a restaurant deck with the Atlantic Ocean beneath our seats – and I managed to “hit” the nice family at the next table as I pried the meat from the shell).

I have several exciting things coming up in the next few months including David Neagle & Suzanne Evans special one-day intensive in Toronto (see Things We Like below), my Millionaire Protégé Club Retreat with Ali Brown in Phoenix as well as Ali’s November SHINE event in Las Vegas (and I’m thrilled to be taking my daughter with me to share the experience).  Plus, I’m opening the Bridges to Better Business entrepreneur’s conference in October, co-hosting Wine, Women & Shopping in November, and launching a new marketing program in a few weeks.  So taking two weeks to kick back and relax was a necessity.  There’s a lot to come in the weeks ahead so stay tuned.
