Well I’m back in Canada, fully inspired and raring to go from my time spent on the West Coast soaking in the knowledge and talent of so many extraordinary entrepreneurs.
Unfortunately, when many people return from workshops or special events, the boost they’ve received at the show soon wears off and they’re back to the “same old, same old” routine. Don’t fall into that trap!
When you attend any type of tradeshow or workshop, network! You are in a room full of like-minded people. Connect and build relationships…and continue once you’re home. Be open to the opportunities that flow your way – amazing things can happen.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure, that is the time to reach out to those who truly understand what you’re going through – because they have been there. That is just what I did yesterday…with so many options and programs to consider and directions for growth, I called up my good friend, Gene, who is going through the same thing. In 30 minutes, I was back on track and ready to tackle anything life may throw my way – and feeling fully inspired. (Thanks Gene!)
If you’re going to invest in yourself, don’t stop short. Make time after the event to develop a plan of action – and watch the magic happen!
